Assessment practice rooted in Ekurhuleni

Workspace Cedarpoint helps small and midsize firms see what their networks and applications expose—and turn that into ordered remediation work.

Official name and history

Workspace Cedarpoint (Pty) Ltd was established in 2018 in Ekurhuleni, South Africa. The practice began by supporting local distributors and professional firms that needed vulnerability scanning without the overhead of large consulting retainers.

Early engagements focused on external perimeter reviews for companies moving offices or launching customer portals. Over time we added internal network assessments, web application scans, and remediation retests so clients could close the loop with insurers, boards, and key customers.

Mission

Give SMB leaders and their IT partners a clear, scoped picture of technical weaknesses—written so both directors and technicians can act—without burying findings in jargon or endless dashboards.

How we work

Every engagement starts with a scope letter. We schedule scan windows around your blackout hours, verify high-severity findings, and deliver a leadership summary plus a technical appendix. We stay available for one clarification call after delivery; remediation itself remains with your staff or MSP unless separately arranged.

Values

  • Authorisation first—no probing outside the agreed asset list
  • Plain severity language tied to business exposure
  • Reports that name hosts, ports, and fix paths
  • Respect for production calendars and month-end freezes
