Terms of service

Acceptance

By accessing workspace-cedarpoint.click or commissioning services from Workspace Cedarpoint (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”), you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Services

We provide vulnerability scanning and related assessment services under a written scope letter. Website content is informational and does not itself form a binding statement of work. Engagements begin only when both parties accept a scope letter and any required deposit is received.

Authorisation

You warrant that you own or are authorised to permit testing of every asset listed in scope. You will identify blackout windows and emergency contacts. Unauthorised testing requests will be refused.

Intellectual property

Reports delivered under an engagement are licensed to your organisation for internal use, including sharing with your MSP, insurers, and auditors under confidentiality. Our methodologies, templates, and website content remain our property. You may not republish reports as marketing materials without written consent.

Client responsibilities

You will provide accurate asset lists, timely access credentials where agreed, and notice of monitoring systems that may block scan traffic. Delays caused by missing access may extend timelines or require rescheduling fees as set out in the scope letter.

Liability

Vulnerability scanning identifies known classes of weakness within a time-boxed scope; it does not guarantee discovery of every possible flaw or prevent incidents. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or reputational harm, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Confidentiality

Both parties will protect non-public information obtained during an engagement and use it only for performing or receiving the services, unless disclosure is required by law.

Website use

You may not misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or scrape content for competing commercial reuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in Gauteng shall hear disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
